International Collaboration with University of Valparaíso

On the morning of June 3, inBrainLab took another step towards the internationalization of neuroimaging and magnetic resonance imaging research. The virtual meeting with Dr. Stereen Cherbet's group from the University of Valparaíso in Chile marked the beginning of a scientific collaboration that promises to bear fruit in the coming years.

During the meeting, Brazilian and Chilean researchers presented the projects they have been developing in their respective laboratories. More than an exchange of data and results, the meeting was an opportunity to identify methodological affinities, establish points of intersection between the groups and, above all, build bridges.

With enthusiasm on both sides, the conversation flowed naturally, showing that quality science is also achieved through dialogue and collaboration. One of the highlights was the announcement of the future student exchange. Researchers from the University of Valparaíso will spend a season in Brazil, experiencing the day-to-day life of inBrainLab and integrating into the group's research and training routines. The experience should strengthen the training of young scientists and broaden horizons for new joint projects.

For inBrainLab, moments like this reinforce the importance of keeping science connected to the world. Internationalization is not just about crossing geographic borders, but also about opening space for different perspectives, enriching debates and strengthening networks that are based on mutual trust.

We remain motivated about the next steps of this partnership, certain that it will bring positive impacts not only for the groups involved, but also for scientific production in Latin America. After all, when science moves forward together, everyone advances.
