Academic Visit to UCLA Strengthens International Collaboration

The coordinator of In Brain, Prof. Dr. Carlos Ernesto Garrido Salmon, carried out an academic visit to the Department of Radiation Oncology at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), in the United States. The visit took place on the university’s campus, which is internationally recognized for its excellence in medical research.

As part of the visit, Prof. Garrido delivered a lecture on Quantitative MRI in Radiation Oncology. The presentation fostered academic exchange and opened avenues for future collaboration between Brazilian and American research teams.
